카이로프랙틱 신경학 세미나 Module 2 안내문

카이로프랙틱 신경학 소개

카이로프랙틱은 많은 치료 방법이 있고 각기 치료방법대로의 장단점이 있지만 아직도 다른 의료 전문직들이 아직도 카이로프랙틱을 잘 이해하지 못하는 이유는 이것이 과학적으로 검증 이 되는가? 하는 데에 있습니다.

여기에 소개되는 카이로프랙틱 신경학은 카이로프랙틱의 효과을 과학적으로 설명하고 그 이론을 환자 치료에 적용하여 좋은 결과를 보이고 있습니다.

역사적으로 카이로프랙틱의 기적적인 효과는 많이 기술 되어 있지만 그것을 설명하는 데에 의학적인 과학적인 그리고 의료 전문직들이 이해할 수 있는 내용들이 부족했다는 것은 사실입니다.

카이로프랙틱 신경학은 Dr. Carrick에 의해서 카이로프랙틱의 기적적인 치료 효과와 신경생리학 그리고 신경학을 접목함으로서 기존의 의학적 치료로서 잘 낫지 않는 질환의 치료에 좋은 하나의 치료방식을 제시하고 있습니다.

Dr. Carrick은 실제로 환자를 검사하고 치료하는 것을 보여주는 강의를 미국과 유럽에서 약 20년간 진행해오면서 많은 난치병 환자를 치료하고 카이로프랙틱 신경학 전문의들을 양성 하였습니다.

그들은 미국 유럽 호주 일본 그리고 한국에서 활동하면서 기존 의학적 치료에 잘 반응 하지 않는 질환들을 잘 치료하고 있으며 그들 중에는 chiropractor뿐만 아니라 M.D. Ph.D. D.O. O.D. DPM 등의 여러 의료 전문직 혹은 기초의학자들이 포함되어 있습니다.

카이로프랙틱도 전문화되어 여러 전문의 제도가 생겨나고 있으며 이 카이로프랙틱 신경학도 전문의 과정의 일종입니다. 카이로프랙틱 신경학은 300시간으로 구성되며 이 과정을 이수한 선생님은 American Chiropractic Neurology Board가 주최하는 카이로프랙틱 신경학 전문의 시험을 볼 수 있는 자격이 주어집니다.

이번에 개설한 이 과정은 8시간씩 8회에 걸친 Introductory Course 로써 카이로프랙틱 신경학 에서 임상적으로 편리하게 사용되는 내용을 중심으로 진행할 예정입니다.

이 과정은 환자의 진단 및 치료과정을 직접 보여주면서 기존의 health care profession에서 볼 수 없는 특별한 방법으로 접근하고 있으며 단순히 교과서의 내용이 아니라 최신 자료에 근거를 둔 임상적 경험을 이론화하여 설명하고 치료하며 그 결과를 평가할 것입니다.

이번에 새롭게 등록하신 선생님들을 대상으로 12월 10일 오전 7시부터 9시까지 지난번 module 1 neuron/receptor 부분에 대한 강의를 합니다.

이 강의를 들으시면 이번 module 2를 쉽게 이해하시고 임상에 응용할 수 있습니다.
이번에 강의는 말초신경계에 대한 일반적인 내용과 말초신경의 압박에 대한 카이로 프랙틱신경학의 접근법을 알려드립니다.

자율신경계는 소뇌나 대뇌에 의한 중심성 조절에 영향을 받습니다.
자율신경계에 대한 기본적인 신경해부학 신경학에서부터 자율신경계와 대뇌 소뇌 중뇌와의 상관관계 그리고 감각수용체의 자극에 의한 소뇌 대뇌의 활동이 자율신경 계에 미치는 영향 등에 대해서 강의합니다.

동공의 반사 심장의 rate & rhythm bowel bladder 등의 반응을 통해서 뇌의 활동을 평가하고 임상에 응용하는 법 등을 알려드립니다.

peripheral nervous system(말초신경계) and
autonomic nervous system(자율신경계)

This module will be concentrated on the ANS which is the important window of observations and the outcomes from the application for the neurologist.

A. Review of the previous modules.
Explanation of the format of this program such as breadth depth of information and application for new attendees.
Function of the nervous system.
Neuron theory Homologous column Central integrative state of neurons etc.
The receptors such as muscle spindles GTO and other non-constant modalities etc.
The central manifestations from the peripheral aberrancies including receptor activation and PNS from the lesions in CNS.

B. ANS is one system which is continuous and linked through homologous columns bilaterally from the mesencephalon to the caudal portion of the cord.
All anatomical structures and their function in relationship to other system such as cerebral cortex mesencephalon soma and visceral organ will be discussed.

C. Decreased or increased activity of brain with its monosynaptic activation to the vital center ( pontomedullary reticular formation vs mesencephalic activation to the IML will be discussed in great detail.

D. NTS activity from cortex cerebellum and baroreceptor etc. Vasovagal response orthostatic hypotension clinical application of baroreceptor activity by compression of carotid vessel in the neck will be discussed and demonstrated.

E. Detailed explanation of individual 3 semicircular canals in relationship to eye function and clinical application.
Labirinthine function and ANS.

I. Practicum:
Attendees are going to cement their ability to be able to understand all of these items.
1. Is there anisocoria?
2. Are both pupils centric or is there heterophoria?
3. Is there deviation of the eye on confrontation?
4. To which side is he exophoric?
5. The time to fatigability compared from left to right?
6. Is there a lid lag?
7. Is there a ptosis?
8. Is there a loss of emotional activity on the left side?
9. If you tell him a joke is there an aberrancy or facial paresis?
10. Palation of carotid for baroreceptor activation.
11. Attendees are going to auscultate and look at the rate and rhythm. Is there arrhythmia?
You can auscultate and do your own compression and look at your wach.

F. Somatotopic representation of the brain associated with brain fuction and autonomic function (IML).

G. Differentiation of brain lesion and cerebellar lesion using target of finger to nose and visual field.

H. Review of individual visceral functions with ANS and their clinical applications:
Cardiovascular lung GI GU eye Sweat lacrimal salivary glands etc.

I. RSD with mesencephalic activity. Mesencepalon excites IML bilaterally and brain inhibit it ipsilaterally. Net effect from the mesencephalon will be contralateral excitation to L.
